About the role

  • Support of SAP systems S/4 HANA, BW/4 HANA, Business Transformation Platform (BTP), cloud services (e.g., CALM) and Solution Manager
  • Responsibility for configuring these systems and integrating connected/auxiliary systems
  • Configuration and maintenance of deployment processes in S/4, SolMan and BTP/CALM
  • Administration and optimization of associated databases
  • Development of appropriate tools for system monitoring
  • Responsibility for monitoring and performance analysis
  • Optimization of system performance
  • Ensuring systems are up to date and secure
  • Upgrades, backups and release changes, applying patches
  • Regular system and client copies
  • Ensuring high availability
  • Managing critical incidents until resolution

Requirements

  • Completed IT vocational training or degree with relevant professional experience
  • Broad technical understanding
  • Enjoyment of troubleshooting
  • High degree of initiative
  • Deep knowledge of the Oracle database environment (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, SQL tuning)
  • Ideally, experience with metering solutions (Robotron eCount)
  • Experience handling 1st and 2nd level support requests
  • Development of Power Automate scripts to automate processes
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Independent and careful working style
  • Empathy, sense of responsibility and resilience
  • Business-fluent German and very good English skills (at least B2 level)
  • Enjoyment of working with international teams
