About the role

  • Monitoring of current and planned national and European regulatory changes relevant to us (with a focus on activities in the heat market, renewable energy, large battery storage and decarbonization solutions for cities, neighborhoods and industry)
  • Support in analyzing these upcoming changes and their potential impacts on our EIS portfolio and EIS products
  • Active involvement in preparing corresponding recommendations for action and E.ON position papers
  • Delivering short briefings/presentations to share knowledge internally
  • Data analysis and visualization
  • Participation in regular exchange meetings with the operational units in the EIS segment

Requirements

  • You are studying law, (industrial/) engineering, business administration/economics, political science or a similar field, or you have a comparable background
  • You already have energy law and/or energy economics knowledge in relevant study modules and a basic technical understanding or a strong affinity for these topics
  • If you have already gained initial experience in the areas of energy (electricity and heat), waste heat, renewable energies, or (European) politics—e.g., through an internship or as a working student—that is a plus
  • You have advanced skills in MS Office (including PowerPoint, Excel and Teams)
  • You show initiative, have a structured way of working, and bring team spirit, enthusiasm for new topics and tasks, and intercultural competence
  • Very good communication skills in English and German complete your profile.
