About the role
- Support the identification, implementation and delivery of plant performance and improvement initiatives
- Deliver planned and unplanned maintenance activities
- Support the development and delivery of the site Maintenance Plan
- Carry out plant inspections, defect identification and rectification
- Maintain site stock holdings of consumables and operational/strategic spares
- Participate in the on-call rota (1 week in 4)
- Contribute to site SHE plans and safety initiatives
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Engineering qualification
- Sound knowledge of general engineering principles
- Experience in a specialist discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or C&I)
- Ability to achieve and maintain E.ON EC Engineer competency levels
- Strong safety awareness, with competence in hazard identification, risk assessment and risk management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
- Working knowledge of CMMS and PC-based systems
- Full UK driving licence
