About the role

  • Support the identification, implementation and delivery of plant performance and improvement initiatives
  • Deliver planned and unplanned maintenance activities
  • Support the development and delivery of the site Maintenance Plan
  • Carry out plant inspections, defect identification and rectification
  • Maintain site stock holdings of consumables and operational/strategic spares
  • Participate in the on-call rota (1 week in 4)
  • Contribute to site SHE plans and safety initiatives

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Engineering qualification
  • Sound knowledge of general engineering principles
  • Experience in a specialist discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or C&I)
  • Ability to achieve and maintain E.ON EC Engineer competency levels
  • Strong safety awareness, with competence in hazard identification, risk assessment and risk management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Working knowledge of CMMS and PC-based systems
  • Full UK driving licence
