About the role
- Responsibility for strategic and tactical procurement activities for primary substations
- Conducting demand and market analyses, requests for information, tenders, negotiations and contract drafting
- Managing the supplier market and opening up new procurement sources
- Collaborating with project teams and other category managers to coordinate procurement activities
- Ensuring value creation and savings targets through appropriate measures
Requirements
- Several years of experience in strategic and operational procurement
- Solid expertise in handling large purchasing volumes
- Knowledge of suppliers, markets and trends in the electrotechnical sector is advantageous
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., industrial engineering, electrical engineering, business administration) or comparable qualification
- Business-fluent German and English (negotiation-level)
- Willingness to undertake travel within Germany and occasional international travel
