About the role

  • Preparation of decision papers and procedural guidelines for projects and personnel measures
  • Active participation in HR projects and taking professional responsibility for your area
  • Monitoring legal, collective bargaining and company-level changes, deriving required actions and implementing them
  • Supporting contract and settlement negotiations with various employer stakeholders
  • Ensuring statutory co-determination and involvement of employee representative bodies (works councils)
  • Preparation of works agreements and responsibility for HR governance–related topics

Requirements

  • University degree in economics or law, preferably with a focus on labor/employment law
  • Relevant professional experience in a comparable HR role, or a strong willingness and ability to quickly and thoroughly familiarize yourself with the subject area
  • Proficient in German labor law as well as works constitution and collective bargaining law
  • Experience in project work as well as in preparing, conducting, and following up on co-determination matters
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, and an independent, structured working style
  • Strong argumentation skills, ability to persuasively present positions, and a pronounced legal and diplomatic sensibility
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, and team orientation combined with high interpersonal competence
