About the role
- Proactively identify opportunities to automate and optimize operational processes across the Device Management Platform (DMP).
- Design, build, and maintain automation workflows using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and Azure automation services (Functions, Logic Apps, Runbooks).
- Implement and operate configuration-as-code and GitOps practices to ensure consistency, traceability, and controlled change management.
- Develop integrations between Intune, Entra ID, ServiceNow, and other enterprise systems to enable seamless workflows and automation triggers.
- Define, implement, and track OKRs and KPIs for Intune and the DMP (e.g., deployment success rates, policy compliance levels, automation coverage, time-to-resolution).
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and configuration deployments, primarily in GitLab.
- Leverage AI to enhance automation and operational efficiency - identify opportunities where AI/ML can improve workflows, generate actionable insights, or create resources such as Intune scripts, and design, implement, and maintain AI-driven solutions across the DMP.
- Create and maintain monitoring, alerting, and reporting solutions to ensure service health and performance visibility.
- Collaborate closely with Intune architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into robust automated solutions.
- Troubleshoot automation workflows and resolve issues in cross-service scenarios.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for automation solutions, integrations, and processes.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and features to drive innovation and improve the automation and measurement landscape of the DMP.
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph API for automation and integration
- hands-on experience with Azure automation services (Functions, Logic Apps, Runbooks)
- solid understanding of configuration-as-code, GitOps, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred; Azure DevOps or similar platforms also welcome with willingness to adapt)
- familiarity with ServiceNow integration for workflow automation and as an entry point for operational requests
- experience in automating workflows related to Intune, Entra ID, or other enterprise management platforms
- familiarity with event-driven automation, REST APIs, and JSON
- ability to proactively analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
- experience in defining and operationalizing OKRs and KPIs to measure service reliability, compliance, and automation maturity
- experience or strong interest in applying AI/ML techniques to automate processes, optimize workflows, or generate operational insights in enterprise environments; ability to translate AI potential into practical, scalable solutions
- good collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across multiple teams
