About the role

  • In this position you will be responsible for the engineering development and processing of requirements for network operation and network control within the gas network.
  • To this end, you will work continuously with the network departments as well as upstream and downstream network operators and dispatchers.
  • You will participate in the training and development of switching personnel and contribute to gas network planning.
  • Your responsibilities also include developing principles and technical standards as well as preparing reports and statistics.
  • In addition, you will contribute to incident/event analysis and the preparation of agreements with third parties.
  • To effectively cover these aspects of the role, you will work closely with other departments across the company.

Requirements

  • You hold a university or university of applied sciences degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Energy Supply Engineering, ideally with a specialization in Gas.
  • Ideally, you have several years of professional experience.
  • You are proficient in standard PC applications (MS Office).
  • You have experience and knowledge in applying gas regulations.
  • You hold a driving license (Class 3 / B).
  • You demonstrate strong teamwork, flexibility, and a pronounced sense of responsibility.
  • With excellent organizational skills and high resilience, you effectively support the team and help maintain motivation.
