About the role
- Review, process and post transactions related to fixed assets
- Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS and HGB
- Make accounting decisions in accordance with IFRS, HGB and tax regulations
- Create and maintain master data in SAP FI-AA
- Continuously analyze data quality and identify opportunities for improvement
- Act as a point of contact for internal colleagues and external partners such as auditors and tax authorities
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting/finance
- Several years of professional experience in asset accounting
- Solid knowledge of IFRS, HGB and tax regulations
- Practical experience with SAP FI‑AA (ideally SAP S/4HANA)
- Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel
- Quick comprehension and the ability to understand connections and interdependencies
