Accounting Manager

• Lead all aspects of the accounting function, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Lead Organization through a Cah to Accrual conversion in the first 6 -12 months
• Serve as the organization’s primary technical accounting resource and provide guidance to the CFO and executive leadership team.
• Quickly assess the accounting department, processes, controls, and talent while developing a clear plan for improvement.
• Strengthen accounting policies, internal controls, reporting practices, and audit readiness.
• Evaluate the existing organizational structure and make appropriate staffing and responsibility changes.
• Recruit and develop additional accounting talent, potentially including an Assistant Controller or Senior Accountant.
• Oversee accounting across a complex legal entity structure that includes a holding company, tax blocker, management services organization, and multiple physician-owned professional entities.
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of intercompany allocations, shared-services arrangements, administrative service agreements, and revenue cycle charge outs.
• Provide oversight for entities whose books are maintained by the organization but may not be consolidated into its financial statements.
• Partner closely with treasury, revenue cycle, operations, legal, and executive leadership.
• Support external audits and work with outside advisors to address accounting or process deficiencies.
• Create scalable accounting infrastructure capable of supporting additional physician practices and future organizational growth.
• Develop, coach, and retain a strong accounting team while creating accountability and clarity across the department.

Vice President of Accounting

Accounts Receivable

• Primarily responsible for effective billing and collections for all ENT Specialty Partners offices.
• Is able to resolve claim issues by utilizing knowledge of company policies and procedures, medical coding, insurance reimbursement practices, and collection laws.
• This position is responsible for all AR follow up including denials, reconsiderations, and appeals.
• Accurate data entry of information into the computer system.
• Provide reimbursement assistance to patients while providing superior customer service and respect to patients and their families.
• Follow appropriate HIPAA guidelines provide medical records to primary care provider, insurance carriers, referred providers and patients per patient request.
• Work well individually and in a team-environment accomplishing set goals.
• Timely and accurate filing and billing of all patient transactions (billing, invoices, and insurance claims, etc.).
• Monitor claim status, contact and follow up with insurance carriers on denials.
• Answer/respond to correspondence related to patient accounts.
• Posting of charges, payments, adjustments and related activities in EHR.
• Coordinates with providers, when necessary, on incomplete information to assure proper account and claim adjudication.
• Answer phones, take messages and return calls.
• Work well individually or in a team environment accomplishing set goals.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Revenue Cycle Specialist II – AR & Denials Follow-Up

Billing Specialist

• Primarily responsible for handling all incoming patient billing inquiries for all ENT Specialty Partners offices and settling account balances
• Resolve claim issues by utilizing knowledge of company policies and procedures, medical coding, insurance reimbursement practices, and collection laws
• Accurate data entry of information into the computer system
• Provide reimbursement assistance to patients while providing superior customer service and respect to patients and their families
• Follow appropriate HIPAA guidelines provide medical records to primary care provider, insurance carriers, referred providers and patients per patient request
• Timely and accurate filing and billing of all patient transactions
• Handle incoming calls from patients and triage billing inquiries regarding outstanding balances
• Take payments over the phone
• Make outbound calls to patients / guarantors regarding outstanding balances and offer payment options
• Review patient account balances and determine that appropriate actions have been previously taken by billing, payment posting and AR follow up
• Answer/respond to correspondence related to patient accounts
• Posting of charges, payments, adjustments and related activities in EHR
• Work well individually or in a team environment accomplishing set goals
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Performs other related duties as assigned
