About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary People partner to multiple business functions across e.l.f. Beauty's portfolio of brands
  • Cocreate the People Business Partner function with the CHRO globally, sharing best practices, defining the operating model, and elevating the team
  • Lead a team of global People Partners across EMEA, India, and China through influence as functional leader, collaborator, and partner
  • Provide coaching and guidance across the employee lifecycle, including high performance teaming, organization and talent management, career pathing, leveling, compensation, inclusion and belonging, and employee relations
  • Deliver global people programs covering organization and talent development, performance management, culture, team member engagement, and leadership development
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on organizational design, workforce planning, and right-sizing efforts
  • Assess team capability, capacity, and development needs and co-create plans to address gaps and unlock growth
  • Use people data and analytics to identify trends, surface risks, and shape proactive strategies for senior leaders
  • Connect the People team with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and People Operations
  • Counsel managers on employee relations matters and partner with Legal to investigate and resolve workplace issues
  • Provide policy guidance and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15–20+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant depth as a Global People Business Partner supporting complex, fast-moving organizations
  • Experience ideally in consumer goods, beauty, or a similarly high-growth, purpose-driven space
  • Deep expertise across talent management, organizational design, employee relations, total rewards, and workforce planning
  • Proven experience with HR technology platforms such as BambooHR, Culture Amp, Lattice, Lever, and ADP
  • High emotional intelligence and a warm, direct communication style
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent follow-through, and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to build relationships and establish credibility with leaders quickly
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to tell a story, identify risk, or make a case to senior leadership
  • Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders and individual contributors
  • Intellectual curiosity and strong learning agility
  • Experience supporting HR through acquisitions, integrations, or significant organizational change is a strong plus
