Analyze applications and make recommendations for migration and deployment into cloud environments.
Provide strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses of cloud services.
Develop and implement cloud applications, migrate existing on-premises applications, and manage cloud services.
Ensure appropriate availability/uptime design and establish a secure cloud environment.
Work independently in designing and developing new software products or major enhancements.
Perform significant R&D efforts or manage programs requiring innovative technical solutions.
Deploy and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Azure templates.
Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud environments.
Create and maintain documentation for cloud architecture and configurations.
Establish monitoring and alerting systems for cloud resources.
Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance and availability issues.

Requirements

Active Top-Secret clearance with capability to obtain SCI/CI Poly if needed to meet contract requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline.
7 to 9 years of experience as a Cloud Developer.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
Strong familiarity with the basics of cloud architecture.
Knowledge of cloud computing systems like Amazon, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong understanding with automation technologies and infrastructure as code (IAC).
Understanding of scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
