About the role

  • Provide L1/L2 technical support for production applications, including incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, monitoring, and optimization of containerized applications
  • Monitor application performance and system health using observability tools, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact users
  • Collaborate with L3 development teams to troubleshoot application issues, optimize deployments, and improve system reliability
  • Diagnose and resolve complex networking issues including load balancing, DNS, firewalls, and service mesh configurations
  • Support AI/ML platforms and applications, understanding their unique infrastructure and operational requirements
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Kubernetes (K8s) administration and troubleshooting, including pods, services, deployments, and persistent volumes
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, proxies, and network security
  • Proven experience in application support roles with expertise in incident management, troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Experience with containerisation technologies (Docker, containerd)
  • Proficiency with Linux/Unix systems administration
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation and tooling
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources
  • Proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control, code collaboration, and CI/CD workflows
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar)
