About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own communications strategy and implementation for a defined U.S. geography.
  • Develop content upon request that aligns with strategy and supports key business messages.
  • Ensure that all communications have a tone and style consistent with Robert Half’s brand.
  • Select the appropriate content channels and vehicles for key messages, factoring in social channels, infographics, video, etc.
  • Work closely with communications and marketing colleagues to align strategy, messaging, and deliverables.
  • Stay informed about emerging business, hiring, and career trends, incorporating this insight into the communications and content strategy.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide decisions and enhance performance.
  • Partner with the field marketing teams to strengthen local alliance and strategic partnerships through speaking opportunities and tailored content.
  • Serve as the primary communications support for alliance and strategic partner events, including speaker proposals, content development/customization, speaker support, and other materials.
  • Identify and pursue new, non-sponsored speaking opportunities to boost visibility and uncover potential partnership opportunities in local markets.
  • Collaborate with employees and leaders across the geography to develop high-impact content that aligns with strategy and supports key business messages—such as leadership memos, promotional announcements, bios, scripts, and other collateral.
  • Manage the external presentation program by maintaining up-to-date materials and evaluating the need for new topics and materials to better support the field teams.
  • Promote Robert Half’s signature community impact programs and support local initiatives.
  • Partner with the social media team to create content to highlight local initiatives and events, updating leadership profiles, and training leaders on building their social media presence.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for field communications inquiries and ad hoc requests, providing content, resources, and research as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in communications or public relations, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Exceptional writing, editing, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in Canva and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with strong organizational, collaboration, and time-management skills.
  • A high level of professionalism and responsiveness when interacting with all levels of field leadership.
  • Ability to produce quality communications quickly and effectively in fast-paced or urgent situations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.
