About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead medium to large-scale global HR projects; define scope, plan, and manage all phases of delivery including requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and reporting; proactively manage scope and change.
  • Act as Test Lead for larger scale projects; establish a test plan detailing approach, ensure test cases are created, loaded and monitored throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Establish governance and communication strategies to keep stakeholders aligned on status, risks, and deliverables.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify resources, resolve issues, and drive decisions.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Oversee all project activities including analysis, development, testing, training, and deployment.
  • Monitor implementation progress, drive issue resolution, and continuously optimize delivery plans.
  • Serve as Test Lead, establishing test strategy, plans, and calendars across all phases.
  • Manage testing approach, ensuring full traceability to requirements and effective defect resolution.
  • Ensure quality of test cases, data preparation, execution, and defect management.
  • Lead deployment planning and execution, ensuring production readiness.
  • Manage post-implementation activities, including lessons learned and adoption.
  • Contribute to PMO methodology enhancements.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, HR, or related field) or equivalent experience
  • 5–10 years of project/program management and testing experience
  • Strong expertise in project planning, execution, and test management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools; experience with qTest and/or Jira preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and drive outcomes
  • PMP certification and Workday experience preferred.
