About the role

  • Organize, direct, and manage all aspects of contract operational support functions involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks.
  • Provide overall direction of program activities and serve as the primary liaison between Dynanet and senior NIH department leadership.
  • Consult with government and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers.
  • Oversee IT Operations & Maintenance, End-User Support, Application Development, Network Services, and monitoring functions.
  • Ensure SLA compliance for incident response/resolution, system availability, and service delivery across IT domains.
  • Direct teams providing Tier 1–Tier 3 service desk support, managing annual incidents, and coordinating on-call support.
  • Ensure adherence to federal IT security policies, FISMA requirements, NIST guidelines, and NIH/HHS security standards.
  • Manage and control funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, including 5 years specialized in federal IT program management
  • PMP certification
  • Ability to obtain Level 5 (NACIC) Public Trust within 6 months
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-task federal IT contracts
  • Experience with funds/resource management using complex reporting mechanisms
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware/Nutanix), cloud (AWS/Azure), enterprise monitoring, network security, and backup/DR
  • Experience with federal IT policies, FISMA/NIST compliance, and federal procurement processes
  • Experience overseeing SOP development, documentation management, and lifecycle governance for federal IT programs.
