About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory
Develop, optimise, and support SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries
Build Python-based integrations, automation tools, and data processing solutions
Integrate and support Azure AI services and third-party AI APIs
Develop AI-enabled workflows and automation solutions using modern LLM and AI technologies
Work with APIs and cloud services to integrate internal and external systems
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across data and application environments
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions
Ensure data quality, reliability, performance, and security across platforms
Produce technical documentation and support operational processes
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to continuous platform improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of relevant industry experience
Ability to work independently while contributing to technical discussions and solution design
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Experience building data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Strong Python programming skills
Experience working with Azure AI services and/or AI APIs
Experience integrating REST APIs and cloud-based services
Good understanding of data integration and transformation concepts
Experience troubleshooting and optimising data processes
Familiarity with Azure cloud services and environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable participating in meetings with international teams
