About the role
- Lead and manage the SAP MM workstream in S/4HANA implementation, rollout, or support projects
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to procurement, inventory, and logistics processes
- Configure and customize MM components: Purchase Requisitions and Orders; Goods Receipts, Goods Issues, and Transfer Postings; Vendor Master and Material Master; Inventory Management and Physical Inventory; Automatic Account Determination
- Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (SD, FI, WM, PP, QM)
- Design and implement solutions using SAP Fiori apps and S/4HANA best practices
- Support data migration, cutover planning, testing, and hypercare
- Prepare detailed documentation including functional specifications and training materials
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to MM processes
Requirements
- 9–10 years of experience in SAP MM, with at least 2–3 years in S/4HANA
- Strong understanding of S/4HANA-specific changes in procurement and inventory
- Experience with Material Valuation
- Experience with Batch Management
- Experience with Outline Agreements (contracts and scheduling agreements)
- Experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process
- Experience with Stock Transport Orders (STO)
- Experience with Fiori apps related to MM
- Experience working with IDocs, interfaces, and 3rd-party system integrations
- Ability to work independently and manage client expectations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation capabilities
- (Preferred) SAP MM Certification (especially on S/4HANA)
- (Preferred) Familiarity with SAP Ariba, SAP WM/EWM, or SAP SRM
- (Preferred) Experience in SAP Activate methodology
- (Preferred) Exposure to global rollout projects
