About the role

  • Administer and maintain on-premises and/or hybrid virtualization environments
  • Create, configure, and manage virtual machines
  • Monitor performance, capacity, and availability of the virtualized environment
  • Analyze and resolve medium- and high-complexity incidents (N2/N3)
  • Execute and validate backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures
  • Apply patches, updates, and fixes to platforms
  • Support migration, expansion, and consolidation projects
  • Work collaboratively with networking, storage, security, and cloud teams
  • Ensure adherence to security policies, compliance requirements, and best practices
  • Document technical procedures and environments

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion)
  • Knowledge of Hyper-V and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
  • Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS)
  • Cloud experience (desired)
