About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer and maintain on-premises and/or hybrid virtualization environments
Create, configure, and manage virtual machines
Monitor performance, capacity, and availability of the virtualized environment
Analyze and resolve medium- and high-complexity incidents (N2/N3)
Execute and validate backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures
Apply patches, updates, and fixes to platforms
Support migration, expansion, and consolidation projects
Work collaboratively with networking, storage, security, and cloud teams
Ensure adherence to security policies, compliance requirements, and best practices
Document technical procedures and environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Information Technology or related field
Experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion)
Knowledge of Hyper-V and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS)
Cloud experience (desired)
