About the role

  • Analyze code to identify vulnerabilities and assess security risks
  • Research and analyze malware samples to improve detection
  • Write detection rules and logic used by our security scanning tools
  • Analyze malware samples and emerging threats to improve detection capabilities
  • Work closely with engineers to turn research into product features
  • Clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Contribute small tools or scripts to support security research when needed

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of security principles and common vulnerability types
  • Comfortable reading and analyzing code across multiple programming languages
  • Curiosity about how software breaks and how attackers exploit systems
  • Ability to investigate problems independently and communicate findings clearly
  • Quick learner, flexible, and eager to grow
  • Nice To Have: Experience with vulnerability research or static analysis
  • Nice To Have: Background in penetration testing or ethical hacking
  • Nice To Have: Experience in analyzing malware or reverse engineering
  • Nice To Have: Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python
