About the role
- Analyze code to identify vulnerabilities and assess security risks
- Research and analyze malware samples to improve detection
- Write detection rules and logic used by our security scanning tools
- Analyze malware samples and emerging threats to improve detection capabilities
- Work closely with engineers to turn research into product features
- Clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Contribute small tools or scripts to support security research when needed
Requirements
- Strong understanding of security principles and common vulnerability types
- Comfortable reading and analyzing code across multiple programming languages
- Curiosity about how software breaks and how attackers exploit systems
- Ability to investigate problems independently and communicate findings clearly
- Quick learner, flexible, and eager to grow
- Nice To Have: Experience with vulnerability research or static analysis
- Nice To Have: Background in penetration testing or ethical hacking
- Nice To Have: Experience in analyzing malware or reverse engineering
- Nice To Have: Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python
