About the role
- Analyze statutory reporting, e‑invoicing, and digital compliance requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA DRC solution
- Act as the functional lead for SAP DRC on S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with business, legal, and regulatory expectations
- Advise Finance and Tax stakeholders on SAP standard capabilities and best‑practice compliance approaches
- Drive the implementation and rollout of statutory reporting, e‑invoicing, and country‑specific compliance scenarios in SAP S/4HANA
- Translate legal and business requirements into functional designs, configuration guidance, and user stories
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure business requirements are correctly implemented across DRC and SAP Finance components, including localization content
- Lead DRC‑focused workshops and support alignment between business and IT teams
- Partner with QA teams to define test scenarios, support UAT, validate compliance outputs, and manage defect resolution
- Support go‑live readiness, cutover activities, and post‑go‑live hypercare
- Monitor regulatory changes and proactively assess their impact on the SAP S/4HANA DRC landscape
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior/Lead Consultant in SAP Finance compliance or statutory reporting
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC)
- Strong understanding of statutory reporting, e‑invoicing, and digital tax/compliance requirements
- Proven ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into clear, implementable functional designs
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Compliance, and IT
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Structured, solution‑oriented, and self‑driven working style
- Fluent English (German is a plus)
