About the role

  • Analyzing, designing and implementing data warehouses, data lakes, data models and data pipelines;
  • Building the code and logic required for optimal ETL (extraction, transformation, and loading) of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL or programming languages (Spark);
  • Working with Data Platforms on different Cloud providers (AWS, Azure);
  • Building analytics solutions that provide valuable insights for clients and end-users;
  • Work in an Agile Project team with iterative, short-term goals and faster deliverables.

Requirements

  • Data engineering experience in Cloud-based platforms
  • Azure Data Factory/ AWS Glue
  • Databricks/Apache Spark
  • Coding: SQL, Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Highly motivated, team player, great communicator, interested in Agile Workplace Framework
  • Project/code management: Jira, Confluence, Git
  • Advantage: Azure Data Lake/Azure Blob Storage; Azure Synapse Analytics; AWS: AWS S3; AWS Kinesis; Monitoring (Azure Monitor, AppInsights), Security (KeyVault, Azure AD), experience in data modelling; CI/CD tools: ARM templates or Terraform.
