About the role

Analyze manufacturing processes and define SAP DM functional requirements.
Configure SAP DM modules to support production, quality, and resource management.
Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design MES solutions.
Lead workshops, document specs, and support testing and go-live.
Train users and support change management.
Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

Many years (5-10) of experience implementing MES systems.
Strong knowledge of SAP DM (or SAP ME), S/4HANA, and integration with ERP, EWM, QM.
Experience in implementation of at least 2 SAP DM projects successfully.
Experience in manufacturing operations, production planning, and MES systems.
Familiarity with shop floor processes and SAP methodologies.
Ability to translate business needs into system configurations.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration, understanding of MES standards (ISA-95) and ERP data structures.
Fluent in German and English.
Willingness to travel.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
