Paralegal – Property Damage, Commercial Insurance
DWFParalegal supporting property damage recovery claims for insurer clients at DWF in Manchester. Assisting with a varied caseload and developing technical and commercial skills in a hybrid role.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support senior team members with a varied caseload including property casualty, property damage, product liability and subrogated recovery claims
- Prioritise workload effectively
- Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Develop technical and commercial knowledge through training, supervision and day-to-day casework
- Support the team in delivering a high standard of service to insurer clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant legal qualifications i.e. LLB, potentially LPC
- Previous experience working in a legal environment
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong IT skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience within Commercial Insurance, particularly Property Damage and/or Recoveries is desirable
- A demonstrable desire to develop a long-term career with DWF
