About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the Intelligence team
  • Organise and monitor incoming correspondence, instructions and busy team mailboxes
  • Support new instruction administration, ensuring information is captured accurately and progressed promptly
  • Assist with diary management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements and minute taking where required
  • Support billing and matter administration for completed work, helping the team meet financial and service expectations
  • Obtain, check and record relevant information from internal systems and case management platforms
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure information is stored and handled in line with firm procedures
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support wider investigations and client service delivery
  • Manage workload effectively, meeting deadlines, service levels and performance expectations
  • Follow firm policies and procedures at all times, ensuring confidentiality, GDPR and data protection principles are maintained

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong administration and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately
  • Good attention to detail and a clear focus on accuracy, quality and confidentiality
  • Good level of digital literacy, including familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft systems
  • Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks and work to deadlines and service levels
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach to internal and client-facing contact
  • A proactive, willing-to-learn attitude with strong team working skills
  • Experience in an administrative, legal, insurance, claims or professional services environment
  • Interest in intelligence, investigations, fraud, risk or litigation support work
  • Experience using case management systems, databases or structured internal processes
  • Understanding of confidentiality, GDPR and data protection principles
