About the role
- Support the CEO in fostering a high-performance culture across the division.
- Guide teams to ensure priorities align with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement business strategies.
- Represent the division in internal and external meetings; stand in for CEO/Director when required.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and consistency.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Drive standardisation of practices across the division.
- Track progress toward strategic goals and recommend improvements.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to increase profitability.
- Manage cross-team projects and ensure delivery against priorities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and communications for board and leadership meetings.
- Follow up on actions post-meetings and maintain clear communication channels.
- Ensure adherence to governance and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business management, operations, or a similar role supporting senior executives in a legal or professional services environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance and business processes.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
- Financial acumen with a strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Project Management skills with a proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
- Problem-solving and analytical mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
