About the role
- Manage a varied caseload of litigated EL/PL / Casualty and Personal Injury claims, from inception to resolution.
- Conduct thorough investigations, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and liaising with experts.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and settlement negotiations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, case law, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver integrated legal solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 1 - 3 years PQE in litigation preferably in EL/PL, Casualty and/or Personal Injury
- Strong knowledge of EL/PL, Casualty and/or Personal Injury insurance law, including civil procedure and litigation processes
- Proven ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Experience in handling high-value or complex claims is an advantage
