About the role
- Handling a mixed RTA caseload of ULR matters and some personal injury matters
- Working in an organised manner to ensure that cases are progressed proactively
- Assessing prospects of success on cases upon which liability and causation is disputed
- Dealing with all stages of the litigation process including drafting particulars of claim and loss schedules
- Negotiating with opposing insurers and solicitors to achieve case settlements
- Deliver excellent client care and understand client requirements
Requirements
- A qualified Solicitor
- Proven experience handling a litigated RTA caseload (claimant)
- Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure rules
- The ability to demonstrate both technical and commercial expertise
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to deliver results within strict deadlines
- Experience handling personal injury claims (Desirable)
- Familiarity with case management systems (Desirable)
