About the role

  • Build and maintain the core of our platform, including backend services in Node.js/TypeScript and PHP, as well as frontend interfaces in React. Ensure clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Design and help implement our next-generation architecture, including migration from a monolithic PHP system to service-based systems that support scalability and flexibility.
  • Be a technical force within the team, shaping coding standards, reviewing designs, and influencing architectural decisions while mentoring teammates.
  • Work closely with top-tier engineers and business stakeholders to ensure engineering solutions directly contribute to the company’s profitability and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and PHP.
  • Experience with React and building full-stack applications.
  • Strong systems-thinking mindset.
  • Ability to defend architectural decisions with clarity and humility.
  • Understanding of business impact and engineering for profitability.
  • Experience contributing to small, high-performance teams is a plus.
  • Higher degree education.
  • Startup mentality: resilience, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent Russian skills (written and verbal) required due to the processes, team documentation and communication being in Russian.
  • B1/B2 level of English.
