About the role
- Create and execute social media content for DVM Elite clients in the animal and human health industries
- Topic ideation, maintain content calendars, write persuasive post copy, and curate images/design elements
- Schedule posts (up to 10 client segments receive 1 post per day) and manage post publishing
- Apply client branding with light customization to pre-approved campaign templates
- Monitor monthly highlights and lowlights; share performance wins or issues with the marketing team
- Work with marketing teammates to align topics and content calendar (blogs & email marketing)
- Manage business profiles on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google Business profiles
- Stay updated on trends, platform updates, and competitor analysis to improve strategies
Requirements
- Proven experience and knowledge of social media principles, strategies, and trends
- English copywriting skills targeted to a US or Canada-based audience
- Strong social media design skills and familiarity with Canva
- Experience creating social media images in Canva
- Experience with Sprout Social to schedule/manage posts
- Familiar with HubSpot
- Technical skills ensuring accuracy in scheduling posts and content
- Project management skills: handling multiple tasks, planning and organizing time to meet deadlines and goals/KPIs
- Strategic thinking: align social media tactics with broader business goals and adapt campaigns
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote team and meet deadlines with little oversight
- Professionalism on video calls, including having camera on for all meetings
- Collaboration, communication, adaptability, positive attitude, emotional intelligence, initiative and accountability
