About the role
- Observe and assist with day‑to‑day marketing activities under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Learn how digital marketing strategies are developed, executed, and measured for veterinary clients.
- Apply concepts from your coursework in a supervised setting, receiving feedback to help you build your skills and portfolio.
- Complete at least one project in a chosen focus area (e.g., social media, email, analytics, content) that you can use for your resume or portfolio.
- Assist with scheduling social media posts in Sprout Social.
- Help build or update metric dashboards in Go High Level.
- Support conversion tracking and basic report preparation.
- Assist with list maintenance and database updates in our CRM (HubSpot).
- Help with quality‑control checks or light content‑related tasks.
- Participate in one marketing team meeting approximately every two weeks and in our weekly company‑wide meeting on Thursdays, when your class schedule allows.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field.
- Ability to commit approximately 8–10 hours per week for about 3 months.
- Availability to work online during U.S. Eastern Time business hours for at least 5 hours per week; remaining hours can be scheduled flexibly around your classes.
- Access to a reliable computer with a camera and a stable internet connection.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, follow directions, and be proactive about asking questions.
- Tech‑savvy and/or design‑savvy skills are a plus, but not required.
