About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Golang and the Gin Framework.
- Build and optimize microservices and RESTful APIs to support workplace technology solutions.
- Develop secure, reliable, and high-performance applications following software engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development and production environments.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
- Perform code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality and documentation.
- Develop and enhance user interfaces for internal and customer-facing applications.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and stakeholders to deliver responsive and user-friendly web applications.
- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services.
- Build, manage, and maintain Dockerized application environments.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure smooth application delivery and performance.
- Follow established Git workflows for source control, branching, code reviews, and release management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Golang development experience, including the Gin Framework
- Docker containerization and deployment
- Git workflow management, including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and version control best practices
- Minimum 3 years of software development experience in full-stack or backend-focused development roles.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Basic understanding of DevOps concepts, including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and application deployment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise or workplace technology solutions.
