About the role

  • Develop automation and self-service tooling to help other engineers help themselves
  • Design, implement and build deployment workflows: partner across engineering teams to automate our provisioning and delivery process for microservices, containers, and other infrastructure.
  • Create tools and utilities to keep our applications and services running smoothly.
  • Join us in practicing candor and transparency: we all learn from and support each other; we also hold each other accountable.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of cloud platform experience and understanding of at least one of the Big Three (Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, Azure.)
  • Experience with one of the “Big 3” cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)
  • Experience using Infrastructure As Code Patterns leveraging automated provisioning pipelines (IaC, Terraform, YAML, ARM Templates), and configuration management for infrastructure and applications.
  • Experience with orchestration technologies, such as Kubernetes, Mesos, Puppet or Nomad.
  • You’ve written production-grade Terraform or Pulumi and can consult with teams on how best to automate their deployments.
  • Experience with at least one scripting language such as Go Lang, Python, or Bash/Powershell.
  • Developer-centric processes. Hands-on experience creating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Harness
  • A desire for growth and new challenges: as a level II engineer, you will have immense opportunities to grow and learn across a broad range of technologies and challenges.
