About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support 30–50 shops by ensuring operational excellence
- Execute departmental initiatives including GlacierGrid, bee mitigation, and QR asset tagging
- Conduct shop visits in the assigned region twice per year, with a minimum of 100 shop visits per year
- Address facilities issues raised by shop leadership and create effective action plans
- Execute 1-year warranty walks and final punch walks for new shops
- Support new operator training and Dutch Bros opening approval responsibilities
- Determine shop readiness to serve customers and verify completion of punch-walk items
- Provide feedback to Design and Construction on building, equipment, and site improvements
- Manage budgets and service providers
- Hold quarterly business reviews with significant regional and local service providers
- Drive improvements in key performance indicator results
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3 years of experience in facilities, construction, operations, or multi-unit retail/hospitality management; QSR preferred
- Strong understanding of basic building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and food service equipment
- Proven ability to conduct detailed site walks, document findings, and follow up on action items
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region; 100+ shop visits per year expected
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Self-starter with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Experience in budget tracking or vendor management is a plus
- Passion for the Dutch Bros mission and values, with a desire to grow within the company
- Required to live within the region per shop assignment
- Ability to occasionally move or lift items up to 25 pounds
- Ability to sit for extended periods while traveling
- Ability to stand, stretch, twist, and reach
- Ability to work effectively in offices, hotel rooms, and other environments while traveling
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Good or correctable vision and hearing
- Ability to read and write in English
- Proficiency operating computers and office productivity machinery
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for email, video conferencing, and other communication tools
