About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process payroll on time and accurately: Run bi-weekly payroll for Dutch Bros. LLC
- Process individualized payroll activities that include (but are not limited to): Garnishments, Payroll Draws, Direct deposits
- Administer stand employee bonuses, as dictated by Finance/Accounting Departments
- Distribute manual payroll checks
- Process manual checks, as requested by Human Resources Department
- Protect DB operations by maintaining strict confidentiality
- Track and update payroll change paperwork
- Print pay stubs upon request
- Maintain clear, open communication with HR and Finance/ Accounting Departments
- Create and maintain employee Payroll files for DB LLC
- Support employees with use of time and attendance software
- Answer inquiries regarding employment verification
- Assist employees with establishing online user access
- Document and update DB LLC payroll processes, as needed
- Respond to employee and HQ Payroll inquiries within 1 business day
- Provide payroll information to other departments, as needed, through reports, charts, graphs, or other requested presentation methods
- Respond to Verification of Employment requests and wage verifications
- Employee system troubleshooting
- Assist with employee questions regarding W2s, Direct Deposit, and pay-stubs
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, as needed, to ensure all departments, Operators, and Franchisees have the necessary information
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1 year of payroll/HR/admin experience required
- High school degree, or GED, required
- Associate degree, preferred
- Must have good mathematical skills
- Prior DB experience, preferred
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting required reporting deadlines
- Ability to work independently, with little supervision, and interact positively with others
- Intuitive analytical skills to proactively address and identify accounting and operational issues
- Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner
- Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced and growing organization
