About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, scale, and maintain infrastructure using automation and configuration management tools
Work closely with development and security teams to design and implement robust, scalable services
Monitor service health, respond to incidents, and ensure high availability and performance
Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments
Conduct post-incident reviews and implement preventative measures
Optimize system performance using capacity planning techniques

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
Solid understanding of cloud and infrastructure security, vulnerability management, monitoring, and incident response
Strong background in Linux/Unix administration
Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages
Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud services
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of Terraform, Helm charts, configuration management, and infrastructure as code
Familiarity with ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance frameworks
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment methodologies
Problem-solving mindset focused on reliability and availability
Must currently reside in Mauritius
