About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, scale, and maintain infrastructure using automation and configuration management tools
- Work closely with development and security teams to design and implement robust, scalable services
- Monitor service health, respond to incidents, and ensure high availability and performance
- Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement preventative measures
- Optimize system performance using capacity planning techniques
- Bridge development and operations by applying software engineering principles to resolve service uptime and performance issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Solid understanding of cloud and infrastructure security, vulnerability management, monitoring, and incident response
- Strong background in Linux/Unix administration
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud services
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Terraform, Helm charts, configuration management, and infrastructure as code
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment methodologies
- Problem-solving mindset focused on reliability and availability
- Must currently reside in Mauritius
