About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs, and collecting health history
Support physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes, and other first aid procedures
Assist with immunizations or injections when certified
Assist patients with prescription requests and address pharmacy callbacks
Process provider orders, update charting, and maintain filing
Conduct onsite lab testing including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests
Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms
Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values
Travel to assist other local clinics as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED required
Completion of a Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences, or related experience required
Active medical assistant certification may be required for Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice specialties through AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, or AAMA
CPR certification required, or willingness to become certified upon hire
Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days of hire
Prior experience as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT, or 2 years of prior experience in a medical office assisting with patient care
Ability to perform EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy testing
Ability to assist with immunizations or injections when certified
Ability to travel to other local clinics as needed
