About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage work in engineering areas of specialization
  • Develop advanced skills and work with greater independence
  • Identify problems, develop solutions, and take actions to resolve
  • Design protection and control relaying applications for substations
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely release of engineering designs
  • Develop detailed project scopes, layouts of control equipment enclosures, and wiring diagram drawings
  • Provide construction support to field personnel during project implementation
  • Develop and maintain expertise in use of CAD software

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience for Engineer II
  • Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience for Engineer III
  • A Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S. Engineering degree
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (power system focused) from an ABET accredited program (preferred)
  • Protection and Control (P&C) engineering experience (preferred)
  • Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles (preferred)
  • Good written and oral communication skills (preferred)
