About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as technical resource in all aspects of the Company's distribution operations
- Primary responsibilities in DCC include monitoring the operation of the ADMS
- Plans and determines priorities for self and other team members
- Writes or oversees the development of technical procedures and guidelines
- Provide technical support to management and DCC operations personnel
- Provide peer leadership and direction for lower-level engineers
- Analyze feeder/sub data and monitor alarms provided by various technologies
- Establish and maintain procedures related to Switching & Tagging
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Engineering obtained from an ABET accredited program, OR a master’s degree in Engineering in lieu of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Minimum of two (2) years of engineering experience for Engineer II
- Minimum of four (4) years of engineering experience for Engineer III
- Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering degree (preferred)
- Passing grade on the Engineering Fundamentals Exam (preferred)
- Experience in the utility industry (preferred)
- Demonstrated advancing application of engineering theories and principles (preferred)
