About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the PGO-RRE liaison for fleet wide RRE generation facilities
  • Support all PGO-RRE leadership with important duties to ensure NERC compliance
  • Organize and facilitate meetings between RRE plants and PGO leaders
  • Communicate, coordinate, and lead workgroups across Generation and PGO boundaries
  • Maintain compliance with specifications, policies, and procedures
  • Manage stakeholder communication and relay compliance alerts
  • Maintain a SharePoint site with relevant information
  • Operate across NC/SC supporting RRE Generation facilities
  • Provide advice on financial and accounting practices
  • Serve as the single point of contact for procurement of resources and specialized parts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology or Other Related Degree
  • seven (7) or more years’ related work experience
  • High School/GED AND ten (10) or more years related work experience listed above
  • 3 years of power plant experience
  • 5 years of resource scheduling experience
  • Multi-site experience for Duke Energy, Gas, Hydro, Coal, Solar, and Battery Storage
  • Ability to assess and evaluate workers
  • Must be able to ensure NERC compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team toward a positive safety culture
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and accountability
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively with external contractors
  • Experience with station group interfaces required
  • Familiarity with nondestructive testing
