About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the PGO-RRE liaison for fleet wide RRE generation facilities
Support all PGO-RRE leadership with important duties to ensure NERC compliance
Organize and facilitate meetings between RRE plants and PGO leaders
Communicate, coordinate, and lead workgroups across Generation and PGO boundaries
Maintain compliance with specifications, policies, and procedures
Manage stakeholder communication and relay compliance alerts
Maintain a SharePoint site with relevant information
Operate across NC/SC supporting RRE Generation facilities
Provide advice on financial and accounting practices
Serve as the single point of contact for procurement of resources and specialized parts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology or Other Related Degree
seven (7) or more years’ related work experience
High School/GED AND ten (10) or more years related work experience listed above
3 years of power plant experience
5 years of resource scheduling experience
Multi-site experience for Duke Energy, Gas, Hydro, Coal, Solar, and Battery Storage
Ability to assess and evaluate workers
Must be able to ensure NERC compliance
Demonstrated ability to lead a team toward a positive safety culture
Proven track record of taking ownership and accountability
Proven track record of working collaboratively with external contractors
Experience with station group interfaces required
Familiarity with nondestructive testing
