About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage work in engineering areas of specialization with minimal supervision
  • Develop advanced skills and work independently on projects
  • Identify problems, develop solutions, and take actions to resolve
  • Design protection and control relaying applications for substations
  • Coordinate work to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Develop detailed project scopes and drawings for substation projects
  • Provide construction support to field personnel during project implementation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • 4 years of minimum required related experience for Engineer III role
  • 6 years minimum required related experience for Senior Engineer role
  • Professional Engineer Certifications/License
  • Passing grade on the Engineering Fundamentals Exam (preferred)
  • Increasingly proficient in principles of project management (preferred)
  • Experience in the utility industry (preferred)
