manage work in environmental, health, and/or safety areas of specialization

provide advanced-level regulatory-required and internal environmental or safety reports
support environmental or safety training programs
interpret regulations and laws with federal, state and local regulatory authorities
support Duke Energy on various internal/external industry committees and teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors degree in Engineering or Other Related Degree or Health and Safety or Science
6 years related work experience
In lieu of Bachelors degree(s): High School/GED AND 10 years related work experience
Certifications (current): OSHA 500, OSHA 510, OSHA 30, HAZWOPER 40-Hour, HAZWOPER 8-Hour Refresher, Certified in First Aid/CPR/AED/BBP, OSHA Compliance/Regulations
Experience in H&S oversight of Power Plant/Heavy Construction
