Key responsibilities & impact

Provides engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems
Ensures accomplishment of business goals through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities
Prepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches
Conducts engineering and related studies; completes non-routine engineering projects with minimal oversight
Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience or 5 years of engineering experience with state registration as a Professional Engineer
A Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S. Engineering degree
Proficient in engineering theories and principles
Proficient in practices of researching engineering and design issues
Ability to read and follow Emerson Ovation, Siemens T-3000 and GE Mk VI logic
Experience with electrical equipment such as industrial breakers, transformers, PLC, pressure and temperature transmitters
Experience in power generation industry, including Combined Cycle, Simple Cycle and Combined Heat and Power (CHP) generation
Demonstrated troubleshooting experience and skills
