About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Calculate, analyze, and communicate regulated revenue requirements, rate base, earnings, taxes, and cash flow impacts
- Participate in regulatory clause proceedings
- Provide regulatory support for business initiatives
- Ensure appropriate cost recovery mechanisms are in place
- Identify potential regulatory opportunities
- Effectively communicate regulatory concepts to audiences
- Represent the company as a witness in regulatory proceedings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, mathematics or other related degree
- Eight (8) years minimum of related work experience for Manager position
- Ten (10) years minimum of related work experience for Director position
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to influence others
- Strong time management skills
- Experience in utility and/or regulatory work
- Experience providing testimony as an expert witness
- Professional certifications such as MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent
- Advanced education such as an MBA or Master’s degree.
