About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical expertise to solve complex problems
- Ensure accomplishment of business goals through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities
- Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches
- Conduct engineering and related studies
- Improve job-related, technical and professional knowledge, skills and performance
- Develop positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Support the company's goals and represent the company positively and professionally
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology and 2+ years relevant industry experience or Associates degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology and 4+years relevant industry experience
- In lieu of degree(s) AND relevant industry experience listed above, High School/GED AND 6+ years relevant industry experience
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Experience in the utility industry
- Able to effectively apply basic principles of project management
