About the role
- Solve problems in engineering areas of specialization with close supervision.
- Develop advanced skills and the ability to work with greater independence.
- Perform design engineering work for electrical and I&C projects within the engineering organization.
- Support the emergency response organization and storm response in support of the utility.
Requirements
- Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Not Technology) from an ABET accredited program.
- A master’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited school will be considered in lieu of the B.S. engineering degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access to a nuclear facility (General Employee Training, Radiation Worker Training, Security Clearance checks and subject to the site’s Fitness for Duty Program)
- Strong oral / written communication skills within a professional environment.
- Skilled in the practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations and preparing and presenting recommendations.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- 2+ years Nuclear or related engineering experience for Engineer II
