- Manage work in engineering areas of specialization with minimal supervision
- Develop advanced skills and work independently on complex projects
- Identify problems, develop solutions, and resolve issues
- Provide engineering/technical expertise and guidance
- Ensure accomplishment of business goals through effective planning and monitoring of work activities
- Prepare thorough technical reports and conduct engineering studies
- Develop positive working relationships and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- four (4) years minimum engineering experience (Engineer III)
- six (6) years of engineering experience or five (5) years with state registration as a Professional Engineer (Senior Engineer)
- Professional Engineer certification (desired)
- Proficiency in electric distribution system design engineering practices and principles
- Knowledge of distribution system planning practices
- Experience utilizing feeder analysis software such as CYMDIST
