About the role
- Develop the scope, technical basis, installation and testing requirements for engineering design changes
- Research engineering and design issues, evaluates alternatives, determines and presents recommendations to resolve issues
- Provide ongoing support of assigned engineering design changes through work order reviews, corrective action program assignments, and field installation support activities
- Develop or revise design specifications or technical requirements documents to support engineering design changes
- Develop safety screens and evaluations that support engineering design changes
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- A Master's degree in engineering will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- 4-6 years of engineering experience
- Minimum of 1 year of nuclear experience
- State registration as a Professional Engineer (for Senior Nuclear Engineer)
- Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience or 5 years of engineering experience with state registration as a Professional Engineer
