About the role

  • solve complex problems
  • manage work and provide leadership to others in engineering areas of specialization
  • provide SVC SME support and Relay Protection and Control SME support
  • provide technical support and guidance to Regional Engineers, field crews, C&M Supervisors
  • ensure operation and maintenance for reliability of our SVC's (Static Var Compensators)

Requirements

  • Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program or state registration as a Professional Engineer
  • Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer
  • 5 plus years or more of related Transmission relay protective systems
  • Superior problem solving and analytical skills
  • Expert working knowledge of the transmission equipment, systems & associated safety policies, practices, and work procedures
