About the role
- solve complex problems
- manage work and provide leadership to others in engineering areas of specialization
- provide SVC SME support and Relay Protection and Control SME support
- provide technical support and guidance to Regional Engineers, field crews, C&M Supervisors
- ensure operation and maintenance for reliability of our SVC's (Static Var Compensators)
Requirements
- Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program or state registration as a Professional Engineer
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience
- Registration as a Professional Engineer
- 5 plus years or more of related Transmission relay protective systems
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills
- Expert working knowledge of the transmission equipment, systems & associated safety policies, practices, and work procedures
