About the role
- Guides, mentors, and reviews deliverables from project engineers throughout the life cycle of transmission projects.
- Provides engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of complex problems.
- Ensures accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities.
- Conducts engineering and related studies with full technical responsibility for planning and coordinating complex projects.
- Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities.
Requirements
- Must have obtained Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program AND/OR PE
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience
- Have a valid Professional Engineer's License (Prior to Hire Date)
- A Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S. Engineering degree.
- Skilled in line engineering theories and principles.
- Proficient in PLS-CADD, MFAD/HFAD, L-Pile/A-Pile.
- Understanding of typical transmission line project life cycles.
