About the role

  • Guides, mentors, and reviews deliverables from project engineers throughout the life cycle of transmission projects.
  • Provides engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of complex problems.
  • Ensures accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities.
  • Conducts engineering and related studies with full technical responsibility for planning and coordinating complex projects.
  • Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities.

Requirements

  • Must have obtained Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program AND/OR PE
  • Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience
  • Have a valid Professional Engineer's License (Prior to Hire Date)
  • A Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S. Engineering degree.
  • Skilled in line engineering theories and principles.
  • Proficient in PLS-CADD, MFAD/HFAD, L-Pile/A-Pile.
  • Understanding of typical transmission line project life cycles.
