About the role
- Support residential and non-residential demand response programs
- Develop strategic recommendations around demand response programs and technologies
- Support continuous improvement of demand response programs
- Become fluent in peak load shedding strategies and implementation
- Estimate customer energy savings
- Keep meticulous records and verify planning assumptions to improve projections
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and maintain positive working relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 4 years minimum of engineering experience for Engineer III
- 6 years minimum of engineering experience or 5 years with PE for Senior Engineer
- Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of B.S. Engineering degree
- Passing grade on the Engineering Fundamentals Exam is desired
- PE License, CEM, CDSM, and/or LC certification is desired
- Experience in the utility industry is desired
- Increasingly proficient in principles of project management is desired
- Experience in building science and technology is desired
